My Take on the New Fuel Economy Standards

The White House has announced new fuel economy standards intended to reduce American's fuel consumption. Aw, he wants to save us gas money. And it'll only cost us $1,300 per car to do it, unless the automakers go bankrupt first. Oh. Wait.

Today, the Auto Alliance threw their support behind this plan. I haven't seen such asslicking since channel 590. We may all soon be driving biblically terrible cars. Hippies, rejoice.

I stumbled upon this Limbaugh piece about an eco-friendly house rotting up north. I especially liked the second paragraph about progress, and this generation's attempt to reverse it.

The greatest thing that's happened in history is discovering the ability to store and re-use energy. Batteries. Fuel tanks. Engines. Light. Heat. Transportation. Imagine how life was in the stone-age without all these things.

A lot more eco-friendly.
